Fair Isle Fun

It snowed today! Well, for like two seconds, but still. This was very exciting for everything but my hair, which was pretty and voluminous and had the perfect wave in the front when I woke up, the snow/freezing rain had other plans though and quickly killed any volume. Hair woes aside, the snow day seemed like a good day to wear this fair isle sweater I got during the cyber Monday sales.

It's from Ted Baker, which is a brand that I love for it's fun, quirky takes on classic designs. I mean, such a traditional pattern imbued with hearts and bunny rabbits, plus striped elbow patches is a pretty great juxtaposition, in my opinion.

Sweater: Ted Baker; Shirt: JCrew; Jeans: JBrand; Shoes: Tory Burch
The black and white pattern played well with a white and black gingham button up from JCrew, as well as my go to black JBrand skinnies. A headband is a work day necessity, as it keeps my *growing out* bangs out of my face.

These little Tory flats are usually a spring/summer shoe for me, but they added a nice lightness to the mostly black outfit. And yes those are little scratches on my right foot - my cat likes to play with my feet in the middle of the night. Ouch!

Last but not least - my little house all decked out for the holiday. It looked so pretty when I came home this afternoon. I had to snap a picture!

Until next time,
xo
