Rainy Day

I got to wear my rain boots today! For the first time in awhile! It's been too cold for it to rain, so when I woke up today and it was pouring, I was more than excited to break out my light pink Hunter boots. 

They're amazing! I have had them for a few years and they still look like new. Plus, the cheery color is so nice on a dreary, rainy day. 

I paired them with my navy blue and white polka dotted skinnies from JCrew, along with my cable knit sweater from target and my go to Barbour jacket. 

Barbour jackets are definitely a bit of a splurge, and they require very particular care, as they can't be dry cleaned it washed, but must be wiped with a damp cloth instead. But, with that said, they are also very worth it. This particular jacket is a limited edition collaboration with Liberty of London, but I think they're more classic models with traditional plaid lining are also lovely. They are the perfect weight, and they keep you warm and dry without being too bulky or looking like something from REI.
