Christmas Light Craft

Do you ever unpack your Christmas decorations and find this? Just a gross pile of old Christmas lights... Which you thought you left in North Carolina when you bought a new set this weekend at Target? Well maybe not that specifically but this is what happened to me this week.

I also had this fun stack of ribbons that don't necessarily match the wrapping paper I bought for this year. So I decided to get to crafting.

I simply cut different lengths of the ribbon, and tied them on to the twinkle lights in a random order. What I liked about this is that I could switch out the ribbons for a variety of different colors/fabrics and change up the look drastically for different holidays or parties.
It definitely took a while, as the cutting and tying was tedious, but I just out an old episode of Greys Anatomy on and got to work.

This is the finished product! Please excuse my kind of bare mantle... It's still a work in progress!

Until next time,
xo
