Book Report: Tell the Wolves I'm Home

Last Friday I started reading Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt. I started reading it, and literally could not put it down until I had finished it around 1 am!

It's the incredibly touching and moving story of a young girl who loves her uncle, whom she idolizes and adores, to a taboo disease that her mother refuses to discuss. At the funeral, a mysterious man appears, who was a good friend of her deceased uncle, and the two become friends.

They spend their time reminiscing about her uncle, and their friendship spins a truly amazing yarn. Caveat: I did end up bawling for the last 50 pages or so. But read this book, it was a New York Times Bestseller for a reason.

Until next time,
