I have a huge weakness for pubs. Especially if they're authentic. Even more so if they're in England! But since I'm not there, I have to settle for authenticity.
I found this Scottish pub in Victoria last weekend when I was there with Matt, and immediately had to go there for dinner, especially since it was Scottish (my dad's family is as kilt wearing as Braveheart, and I caught the bug as well). So Matt and I bundled up and braved the cold. My JCrew pea coat and Kate Spade scarf and mittens really came in handy!
Underneath the layers, I wore this pretty lace and silk Milly top that was actually part of my New Years outfit two years ago. I paired it with my Theory skirt, as opposed to the dressier peplum skirt I wore it with prior. Tights and my suede wedge Joie booties completed the look.
I kept accessories simple, with just my Tiffany and Co. bow pendant and my hair in a high pony tail. When it's winter, I swear I wear my hair in a pony almost non stop, so that I don't have to constantly untuck it from scarves.
That's me enjoying a Royal Float, which is half hard cider and half Guinness - two of my favorite drinks! If you haven't tried one, you definitely should :)
Until next time,
xo
