Hey there!
To inaugurate my blog, I'm posting not about shoes but crafts. Kind of counter-intuitive, I know, but hey, when the glitter calls, I can't not answer.
I've been lucky enough to travel a lot this year, and every place I went I picked up a few little things for my best girls.
It was difficult trying to figure out how to wrap such an eclectic assortment of goodies, though, so I decided to get crafty.
I went to Michael's Craft Store and bought some plain canvas bags and three different colors of glitter.
I then used duck tape (I used what I had lying around, but you should probably use blue painter's tape to prevent any seeping glue) to cover the bags. I took off alternating pieces of tape, and then painted the uncovered stripe with Mod Podge. After each stripe I covered the painted area with glitter.
I let them dry over night (you could probably just let them sit for a half hour or so, but I figured better safe than sorry!) and then I removed the remaining tape. And this was the finished project!
Happy crafting!
